    After 30 years of service, my J-2 steamer was not producing steady steam. I did some checking and found that the thermostat was most likely the cause, so I took a chance and ordered a new thermostat. I am a 60 year old female with good diy experience, but had never disassembled my Jiffy Steamer. After reviewing the included schematic, I was able to easily replace the thermostat and now my Jiffy Steamer is ready for another 30 years of use. Thank you, Jiffy Steamer for making products that last and are designed to be repaired. It is a joy to be able to fix an item rather than discard it.
